This position leads the analytics strategy and the development of processes and procedures to efficiently operationalize that strategy. Starting with a thorough understanding of the Member Experience and campaign strategies, the incumbent collaborates with executives, marketers, and data and technology specialists to develop business insights that lead to improved business outcomes. This position requires a business mindset and the ability to convert sprawling data sets into actionable business insights.
Lead a team of data and database analysts.
Develop and evolve a corporate analytics strategy, including a framework for member lifetime value, which provides standardized answers to key business questions.
Apply your expertise in quantitative analysis, data mining, and the presentation of data to see beyond the numbers and understand how our members interact with our products and our organization.
Oversee the development of and regular review and validation of reports and dashboards.
Lead effort to ensure organization’s deep understanding of members and related constituencies, including the management of personas and the identification and understanding of member journeys.
Identify opportunities for improved data and technology integration, improved visibility into data, and improved processes and procedures.
Establish a thorough understanding of marketing campaign management and seek opportunities for an improved member experience.
Manage Marketing Automation platform in order to ensure business processes and campaigns are executed correctly and to identify opportunities for improved efficiency.
Manage department’s budget and external agency resources.
Inform, influence, and support business development decisions and strategic initiatives.
This position requires a combination of at least seven years of experience in monitoring, manipulating, and drawing insights from data; developing and communicating strategies and inspiring business evolution; researching, evaluating and negotiating business partnerships; evaluating and improving business operations; managing, coaching, and inspiring personnel; and assessing and mitigating situational risk. A BS/BA Degree is required; an advanced degree, such as an MBA, is desirable. Other requirements for this position include strong interpersonal, presentation, verbal and written skills; demonstrated understanding of customer segmentation methodologies, relational databases and data models, and processes surrounding data mining and modeling; and experience with or a demonstrated ability to quickly learn the following tools / programs / methodologies:
