    NEA member Benefits (NEAMB) is accepting applications for the position of Digital Media Specialist.  This position oversees the digital marketing for the organization.  Starting with a thorough understanding of the Member Experience and campaign strategies, the incumbent collaborates with colleagues and partners to advise in the design of digital marketing campaigns, executes digital marketing, and provides insights based on results reporting.   This individual is central to delivering on NEA MB’s digital vision to engage members at any point during the buying journey with timely and relevant content that makes them want to learn more, talk more, and buy more.     • Builds strong relationships across all areas of the company to develop a thorough understanding of business strategies. Translates knowledge into successful digital marketing actions by recommending and implementing strategies to driving online traffic.  Ensures quantitative ROIs that correlates to meaningful conversions.  Provides digital marketing consultation to staff to ensure optimal results are delivered. 
    • Leads the scheduling, coordination, and execution of the digital marketing activities to drive member engagement. Manages the contracts, vendor relationships, and day-to-day operations of digital marketing service vendors. Negotiates media buys with vendors and agencies and ensure spending remains within budget. 

    • Collaborates with content strategist to curate content that will be promoted through display ads and media. Advises marketing staff on visual and copy representation of assets that will be used in digital media.  Works with agencies and staff to develop the assets while adhering to established brand and communication guidelines. Monitors assets promoted to ensure desired audience is reached in a cost efficient manner.


    • BA/BS degree in Marketing with an emphasis on Digital Marketing or a BA/BS degree in Interactive Marketing. Equivalent experience in lieu of degree can be accepted.
    • Five to seven years of experience
      • Developing and overseeing digital marketing and engagement campaigns that involve SEO, PPC, paid advertising media, email, and social media.
      • Measuring the effectiveness of digital marketing, including establishing the tagging methods which lead to an assessment of ROI
      • Explaining highly complex courses of actions with justified recommendations
    • Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Google Analytics, and Spotfire. Working knowledge of SEO tools (such as Radian 6), Social Media Management Platforms (such as Hoot Suite, Hub spot), and Graphic Design (such as Illustrator and Photoshop)
