  • Overview

    • This position helps to lead the member communications and marketing for the array of products and services made available to SEIU members. Starting with a thorough understanding of the member segments, the incumbent collaborates with colleagues and partners to develop and execute marketing communication strategies that result in the participation goals set forth.

    Responsibilities

     

    • Understands all products and offers made available to members. Works with Senior Marketing Specialist to gain a  thorough understanding of members, their needs and their behaviors..

     

    • Collaborates with manager, internal teams, business partners, and advertising agencies to define communication / marketing strategies which move members through the sales conversion cycles. Designs campaigns that employ multi-touch approaches and encourages member engagement. Ensures campaigns include an appropriate blend of member-relevant content and offers as well an appropriate use of channels.

     

    • Using defined plans, implements campaigns. Teams with internal departments, business partners, and advertising agencies for their support in the development and launch of campaigns. Reviews promotional material for accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand identity standards and contact strategies. Ensures campaigns are scheduled in Unica in accordance with corporate procedures, and uses Unica to manage tasks.

     

    • Ensures data-driven success measures are tracked in every campaign launched. During the campaign and upon its conclusion, works with manager to develops insightful reports about the campaign results. Discusses insights with internal teams, advertising agencies and business partners to identify refinements to improve future performance.

     

    • Monitors and tracks expenses and activities to ensure that planned activities remain within budget.   Helps to process invoices and to track overall spending. Drafts marketing plans, schedules and budgets.

    • Assists in the resolution of member and partner concerns.

    Qualifications

    • BA/BS degree in marketing, business or a related concentration, or equivalent experience in lieu of degree

     

    • Three to five years of experience developing and implementing successful integrated marketing programs:
      • Experience with direct response channels (mail, email) as well as digital engagement using social media, SEO/SEM, mobile, and remarketing/retargeting tactics.
      • Experience with at least one of following areas: financial services, insurance, consumer discount, or travel.
      • Experience with creative strategy, production, modeling, segmentation, target audience planning and budgeting
      • Experience track record measuring, recording, and analyzing marketing performance across multi-channel campaigns managing relationships
      • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously to completion

      • Strong organizational and analytical skills along with excellent written, verbal, communication and presentation skills

      • Proficiency with campaign management tools (such as Unica), digital reporting tools (such as Spotfire and Google Analytics), CRM applications (such as SalesForce), asset management tools (such as Creative Companion)

      • Demonstrated self-sufficiency in NEA MB’s or similar office automation software including Microsoft Outlook, Skype and eDocs.
